you will receive 10 fresh seeds.

Combine 2 parts sand, 1 part perlite and 1 part sterile compost in a large container. Get your hands in and mix the components while adding water a little at a time. The goal here is to create a uniformed mixture that is moist to the touch.

Fill a 2 - 3 inch deep seed tray. Fill it to within 1/4 inch of the top. Press the surface to make it even and squeeze out any trapped air.

Lay out the aloe seeds about 1 to 1 and a half inches apart on the surface of the sandy mixture. Push the seeds into the surface of the mixture and cover the seeds with a very thin layer of sand.

Move the flat to an area where it will receive eight to 10 hours of sunlight daily although the use of artificial fluorescent lighting can be used to the same effect. Ideally place the seed tray on a heat mat or in a propagator.

Avoid letting the sandy media dry out completely, the use of a spray mist bottle is ideal for this.

Seed will sprout within two to four weeks, depending on the species of aloe. After seeds have germinated remember that it is important to keep the seed tray heated for at least an additional 2 weeks after germination.

Transplant the aloe seedlings into individual 2 inch pots filled with the same growing mixture created in Step 1
